How the Sail Unfolds
Each session is shaped by wind and conditions, with no two sails exactly alike.
Beach briefing
A short introduction on shore covering safety and basic controls.
Launch from the sand
A smooth transition directly from beach to water.
Active sailing time
Guided practice with steering and sail trim in open water, often sailing toward areas such as Spanish Banks, Locarno Beach, or Kitsilano Beach depending on wind direction.
Return to shore
A controlled approach back to the beach as the session winds down.
Time on the water and sailing area vary with wind and conditions to ensure safety and the best possible experience.
The Experience
This experience is about participation.
After a brief shoreline introduction, you launch directly into the water and begin sailing almost immediately. Instructors guide you through steering, sail trim, and balance, adapting the session to your comfort and ability.
The focus is movement and engagement — responding to the wind, adjusting the boat, and working with the conditions as they change. The pace is energetic but controlled, designed to leave you feeling confident and connected to the water.
