How the Sail Unfolds

Each harbour sail is shaped by the conditions of the day, with no two trips exactly alike.

Departure & Harbour Waters
We depart from Jericho Sailing Centre and settle into a relaxed sail through sheltered harbour waters, passing marinas, waterfront neighbourhoods, and working marine traffic.

Coastal Views & Wildlife Watching
As we move toward nearby open bays, your skipper adjusts the route to highlight coastal scenery and areas where wildlife is commonly seen, often including Stanley Park, Siwash Rock, Kitsilano and Jericho beaches, and views toward the North Shore mountains.

Return
The sail concludes with a calm return to Jericho Sailing Centre, maintaining a comfortable pace throughout.

Routes vary with wind, traffic, and conditions to ensure comfort, safety, and the best experience.

We sail through sheltered harbour waters and nearby open bays, offering a mix of city views, coastline, and opportunities to observe marine life in its natural environment. The tone is calm and informative, with time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the quiet of sailing.

Your skipper adapts the route and sail plan to the conditions of the day, choosing paths that balance scenery, wildlife opportunities, and sailing quality for a comfortable and engaging experience.
